PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) \u2014 The identity of the 6-year-old girl who died in a go-kart incident at Urban Air Adventure Park<\/a> on Saturday has been released.<\/p>\n

In an obituary sent by the child’s family, the girl was identified as Emma Riddle, who was described as “full of life, love and light” and touched every soul she met. <\/p>\n

According to the obituary, Emma was at Urban Air Adventure Park celebrating her sister’s birthday when an incident occurred involving a go-kart. The Port St. Lucie Police responded to the incident, and the child was airlifted to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital, where she died on Sunday. <\/p>\n

Her memorial will be held on Saturday, December 13, at 10 a.m. at the Calvary Chapel in Port St. Lucie, located on NW St. James Drive. <\/p>\n

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services has oversight of go-kart tracks, as they fall under their jurisdiction for carnival rides, and a state investigation into the crash is now underway. Port St. Lucie Police also notified OSHA, meaning multiple agencies are involved in determining how the tragedy occurred.<\/p>\n

The parent company for this fun park has been sued and settled multiple times in the past. One case involved a 10-year-old who fell 20 feet off a zipline but recovered from the fall. Urban Air has not yet provided a comment on the fatal accident.<\/p>\n
