ORLANDO, Fla. \u2013 High pressure<\/a> over the area weakens Wednesday as a cold front approaches the eastern U.S., allowing skies to gradually clear. <\/p>\n

A persistent layer of clouds will finally erode through the day, with highs across Central Florida trying to reach the low 70s. Outside of a few sprinkles, conditions remain dry through late week.<\/p>\n

Thursday & Friday<\/p>\n

A new front arrives early Thursday, bringing a brief cooldown by the afternoon. <\/p>\n

Highs are expected to dip into the mid-60s north of Orlando and the upper 60s to lower 70s across the remainder of Central Florida.<\/p>\n

Overnight lows follow suit with a more noticeable drop. Temperatures fall into the mid-40s to low 50s Thursday morning, then a bit colder Friday morning, in the low to mid-40s.<\/p>\n

Weekend<\/p>\n

By the weekend, high pressure rebuilds as temperatures rebound into the mid- to upper 70s.<\/p>\n

By late Sunday, another cold front moves through. <\/p>\n

High pressure quickly strengthens behind the front late Sunday, bringing breezy northeast winds.<\/p>\n

After highs in the mid- to upper 70s Sunday, cooler air arrives, with afternoon temperatures in the upper 60s early next week.<\/p>\n
