The last day to register to vote is Monday, Feb. 9, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Who Can Vote?<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1024\" data-end=\"1412\">Madeira Beach uses a mixed structure for its elected officials. The City has a mayor and four district commissioners.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1024\" data-end=\"1412\">Commissioners must live in the district they represent, but Madeira Beach uses at-large voting. That means all registered Madeira Beach voters may vote for every commission seat on the ballot \u2014 regardless of where they live. The mayor is also elected at-large.<\/p>\n<p>Where to Pick Up Candidate Packets<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1765\" data-end=\"1847\">Potential candidates may access qualifying packets:<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1851\" data-end=\"1905\">Online: on the City of Madeira Beach website<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1908\" data-end=\"1999\">In person: at the City Clerk\u2019s Office (300 Municipal Dr., Madeira Beach)<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2001\" data-end=\"2147\">All candidates must contact the City\u2019s qualifying officer \u2014 the City Clerk \u2014 for official guidance, required forms, and submission procedures.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates Who Have Pre-Filed<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2187\" data-end=\"2328\">Several individuals have already pre-filed or publicly stated their intent to run:<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2332\" data-end=\"2390\">David Tagliarini \u2014 Commission District 1 (incumbent)<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2393\" data-end=\"2443\">Ray Kerr \u2014 Commission District 2 (incumbent)<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2446\" data-end=\"2488\">Chuck Dillon \u2014 Commission District 2<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2490\" data-end=\"2634\">These pre-filing announcements signal early interest in the race but do not guarantee placement on the ballot until formal qualification occurs.<\/p>\n<p>What Happens Next?<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2662\" data-end=\"2897\">As the qualifying period approaches, Madeira Beach voters can expect more candidate announcements, campaign launches, and election information from the City.
