According to the obituary, Emma was at Urban Air Adventure Park celebrating her sister\u2019s birthday last Saturday when an incident occurred involving a go-kart. The girl was airlifted to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital, where she died on Sunday.<\/p>\n
Her memorial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Calvary Chapel in Port St. Lucie, on Northwest St. James Drive. The public is invited.<\/p>\n
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services has oversight of go-kart tracks, as they fall under their jurisdiction for carnival rides, and a state investigation into the crash is now underway. Port St. Lucie Police also notified OSHA, meaning multiple agencies are involved in determining how the accident occurred.<\/p>\n
Urban Air has not provided a comment on the accident.<\/p>\n
