Something special seems to be brewing in Dania Beach since the opening of the caf\u00e9 Papa Thanks So Much<\/a> on November 30. People are stopping by in droves to try the spot\u2019s coffee, matcha drinks, and baked goods, including focaccia, cinnamon rolls, and cookies, from Eli\u00e7a\u2019s Baking.<\/p>\n

\u201cCoffee to me is one of my love languages,\u201d cofounder Aloni Matzon says in a video posted to the caf\u00e9\u2019s Instagram<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s something that I love, something that should be enjoyed and respected.\u201d<\/p>\n

Step inside Papa, and you might feel as if you\u2019ve stepped into a Glossier store. It\u2019s sparsely decorated, with marble and concrete as the dominant materials, with pops of color from plants and art on the walls.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A Delicious and Unique Menu Ready for the \u2018Gram<\/p>\n

Regardless of the decor, your eye will be instantly drawn to the chrome La Marzocco espresso machine on the counter. Baristas prepare standard coffee drinks, such as espressos, cortados, cappuccinos, and macchiatos, as well as a variety of creative concoctions. There\u2019s the \u201cCafe Coqui\u201d with espresso milk, condensed and evaporated milk, coconut cream, cold foam, coconut flakes, cinnamon, and sea salt; and the \u201cMy Good Girl\u201d with espresso, T\u00e1che pistachio milk, salted caramel, cold foam, Marky\u2019s dehydrated caviar pearls, and caviar salt.<\/p>\n

The caf\u00e9\u2019s popularity shouldn\u2019t come as a surprise. Aloni and his popular influencer wife, Danielle Zaslavsky Matzon, are behind the concept, along with Adam Benaim and his celebrity wardrobe stylist and podcaster wife, Sarah Akiba Benaim<\/a>. Daniella alone has over one million followers on TikTok<\/a>, where she shares makeup tips as well as instructions for opening a tin of caviar. Whenever Daniella posts from the coffee shop, her followers comment that they plan to stop by on their next visit to South Florida.<\/p>\n

Despite Its Picturesque Aesthetics, Papa Hits Close to Home<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s the foundation of everything I\u2019ve ever done,\u201d Aloni says in another Instagram video<\/a>. \u201cIt comes from my father\u2014hence the name.\u201d He adds that the coffee shop\u2019s name is an homage to and expression of gratitude for his father, who encouraged him to do so much.<\/p>\n

\u201cPapa should feel like another home away from home,\u201d Sarah says on Instagram<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s that safe feeling, that\u2019s how it should feel.\u201d She adds that, despite the masculine-sounding name, the caf\u00e9 is infused with feminine energy, from the d\u00e9cor to the shop\u2019s nurturing atmosphere.<\/p>\n

Customers are responding to Papa in kind, with many praising the inventive drinks. Instagram user @poorlittlenomad noted<\/a>, \u201cI\u2019m convinced every city needs one caf\u00e9 that\u2019s not afraid to be a little extra.\u201d She particularly calls out the \u201cMy Good Girl\u201d so blending coffee with caviar and actually tasting good.<\/p>\n
