Current or former patients of Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare who had an active patient portal account between Dec. 29, 2019, and Dec. 31, 2024, may be eligible to claim a $17 cash payment and\/or 24 months of credit monitoring from a class action settlement<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare Inc. agreed to resolve a class action lawsuit alleging its use of third-party web tracking and analytics tools on its website may have disclosed patients\u2019 personally identifiable and protected health information to companies such as Facebook and Google. <\/p>\n

Who can file a claim?<\/p>\n

Class members must meet all of the following criteria:<\/p>\n

They are a U.S. resident.They are or were a patient of Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare.They had an active patient portal account with TMH at any time from Dec. 29, 2019, through Dec. 31, 2024.How much can class members receive?<\/p>\n

Eligible class members can claim one or both of the following benefits:<\/p>\n

A cash payment of $17Up to 24 months of CyEx Financial Shield Complete (credit and identity monitoring)How to claim settlement benefits<\/p>\n

Class members can file the online claim form<\/a> or download, print, complete and mail the PDF claim form<\/a> to the settlement administrator. The claim deadline is Feb. 9, 2026.<\/p>\n

Is proof or documentation required to submit a claim?<\/p>\n

All claimants must provide the unique ID located on their settlement notice. Online claimants must also provide the PIN from the same notice. Those who are unable to locate their ID and PIN should contact the settlement administrator by emailing\u00a0info@TallahasseePixelSettlement.com<\/a>\u00a0or calling 833-417-4926 and providing their full name and mailing address.<\/p>\n

Why did this class action settlement happen?<\/p>\n

The class action lawsuit alleged that Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare used third-party web tracking and analytics tools on its website, which may have disclosed patients\u2019 personally identifiable and protected health information to companies such as Facebook and Google. <\/p>\n

TMH denies all wrongdoing and liability. Both sides agreed to settle to avoid the cost, risk and uncertainty of further litigation. <\/p>\n
