With support from residents, partners and donors beyond the island, more than 60 Key Biscayne nonprofits and charitable projects generated nearly $1 million in community impact to support causes across Miami-Dade County and beyond.

This year, the Key Biscayne Community Foundation (KBCF) expanded its Give Miami Day lineup by 12 new organizations, bringing the total number of participating funds to an all-time high of 46. Of the Key Biscayne total, KBCF initiatives alone raised more than half a million dollars. As a result of increased nonprofit participation and strong donor support, there was a 58% increase in dollars raised and a 65% increase in donations compared to last year.

“This year’s Give Miami Day shows the power of neighbors, families, and local partners choosing to give alongside one another,” said Melissa White, Executive Director of KBCF. “We are grateful to every resident and organization who helped fuel this impact. When our community comes together, the results are powerful.”

Local nonprofits supported through the campaign serve a wide range of community needs, including scholarships and education, environmental protection, boater safety, veteran services, youth development, the arts, and cultural programs.

Give Miami Day, organized by The Miami Foundation, raised a record $43.8 million citywide this year, benefiting more than 1,400 nonprofits. The annual event is one of the largest single-day giving campaigns in the country and gives residents an easy way to support the causes that matter most to them.

“Because of your generous donations, our students will now have more opportunities to learn through hands-on courses, programs, and workshops,” said Patricia Woodson, Director of MAST Green Champions and Youth Lead Change. “Your support helps turn ideas into action and empowers young people to lead environmental change.”

This year’s results make one thing clear: when neighbors, families, and partners come together, meaningful change follows. With more than 1,400 donations across KBCF’s 46 organizations, Give Miami Day once again showed what’s possible when a community rallies around shared purpose.

On behalf of the Key Biscayne Community Foundation, thank you to every resident, donor and partner who chose to give. Your generosity strengthens our community.

The Key Biscayne community’s generosity and commitment to the greater good helped power a record-breaking Give Miami Day…

[9
15127,17381,126,634,23548,123,125,124,1718
0":"post-80121","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-miami","8":"tag-charity","9":"tag-give-miami-day","10":"tag-key-biscayne","11":"tag-local","12":"tag-local-organization","13":"tag-miami","14":"tag-miami-headlines","15":"tag-miami-news","16":"tag-nonprofit
["GET
