(WCTV) &#8211; Progress is being made in the plans to bring mega gas station Buc-ees to Leon County, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/p\/1D3opw7zFP\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/p\/1D3opw7zFP\/\">Facebook post from Leon County Commissioner Rick Minor<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Minor shared that Buc-ees is close to buying more than 73 acres of property off of I-10 at Exit 196. He said that although the project is in its early stages, it\u2019s progressing without any major issues. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cParcel acquisition is nearly complete, and the anticipated date for the groundbreaking is Q1 2026,\u2033 Minor said. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | text-center article-text\">More news out of the Big Bend: <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Once the land acquisition is completed, Buc-ees can submit detailed development plans, per the commissioner.
