(Fort Lauderdale, FL) – A precautionary water quality advisory is in effect for parts of Fort Lauderdale due to a sanitary sewer overflow from a manhole. <\/p>\n
City officials asking residents to avoid water-related recreational activities in the Intracoastal Waterway south of the East Oakland Park Blvd bridge.<\/p>\n
The advisory includes swimming, fishing, jet-skiing, paddle-boarding, kayaking, canoeing, or any other water-related activities. <\/p>\n
Daily water sampling will dictate when the advisory is lifted.<\/p>\n
