Obituary: Dr. John Robert Sanders<\/a>, 78, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on December 9, 2025. He was born on January 4, 1947, in Clopton, Alabama, to Glen and Robbie Sanders. After graduating from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1973, John and Lorraine moved to Tallahassee where he opened Westwood Animal Clinic.<\/p>\n

A gunman who targeted students at Brown University Saturday remained at large yesterday, after authorities said they would release a person of interest from custody. Two gunmen\u2014a father and his son\u2014attacked a\u00a0Hanukkah event<\/a>\u00a0in Sydney, Australia, yesterday, killing at least 15 people and wounding dozens more.
