{"id":84093,"date":"2025-12-15T16:52:07","date_gmt":"2025-12-15T16:52:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/84093\/"},"modified":"2025-12-15T16:52:07","modified_gmt":"2025-12-15T16:52:07","slug":"spd-releases-weekly-blotter-sanibel-captiva-8","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/84093\/","title":{"rendered":"SPD releases weekly blotter &#8211; SANIBEL-CAPTIVA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Sanibel Police Department issued the following weekly police blotter, which includes recent information about law enforcement response to criminal activity.<\/p>\n<p>ARRESTS<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Martin Miguel Andres, 19, of 249 Granada Blvd., Fort Myers, was charged on Dec. 9 with one count each of DUI unlawful blood alcohol refusal submit DUI testing and DUI unlawful blood alcohol DUI influence of alcohol or drugs.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Pamela Lynn Goss, 40, of 29315 Lillis St., Punta Gorda, was charged on Dec. 5 with one count each of battery touch or strike and disorderly intoxication public place cause disturbance.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Marco Abian Quintanilla, no age and no address listed, was charged on Dec. 12 with one count of DUI unlawful blood alcohol DUI influence of alcohol or drugs.<\/p>\n<p>OTHER ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 On Dec. 6, a traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle with an obscured tag. The driver was subsequently issued a notice to appear for never having a driver\u2019s license issued and a warning for the tag. The vehicle was removed from the scene by a licensed driver.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 On Dec. 9, a traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle for excessive speed. The driver was subsequently issued a notice to appear for unlawful speed (70 mph in a 30 mph zone).<\/p>\n<p>\ufeff- On Dec. 10, a traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle for excessive speed. The driver was subsequently issued a notice to appear for never having a driver\u2019s license issued. It is available for Android and iOS devices in the Google Play and Apple App stores.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 When leaving Sanibel, motorists are encouraged to travel east on Periwinkle Way. Parking and boat launching on weekends and holidays is with AC\/BC permit only. They may be picked up Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m at the 800 Dunlop Road, Sanibel.
