BREAKING ON THE TREASURE COAST PORT SAINT LUCIE POLICE SERGEANT WHO WAS SHOT IN THE FACE TWICE BY A SUSPECT, IS NOW IN A REHAB FACILITY. THIS AFTER SERGEANT ERIC LEVASSEUR SPENT SEVERAL DAYS IN THE TRAUMA ICU AT HCA LONGWOOD HOSPITAL IN FORT PIERCE. THERE, AUTHORITIES SAY SURGEONS SUCCESSFULLY REMOVED ADDITIONAL REMAINS OF A BULLET. THAT BULLET WAS LODGED DEEPER THAN THEY FIRST THOUGHT, BUT THE PROCEDURE DID GO WELL, WE\u2019RE TOLD. DOCTORS SAY IT WILL TAKE SOME TIME TO HEAL AND DETERMINE ANY POTENTIAL FUTURE PROCEDURES, INCLUDING EYE SURGERIES. Erik Levasseur, who was shot Dec. 1 while responding to a call for service.The police department said that Sgt.
