Solid Waste<\/p>\n
\t\u2022\tCollections of garbage, recycling and yard waste will continue as normal on Wednesday, Dec. 24. There will be no collections on Thursday, Dec. 25, and collections will continue with typical Thursday collections happening on Friday, typical Friday collections on Saturday and so on.<\/p>\n
\t\u2022\tSolid Waste offices will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 25, and Friday, Dec. 26.<\/p>\n
\t\u2022\tThe Resource Recovery Facility in Buckingham and the Lee-Hendry Landfill will be open regular hours Wednesday, Dec. 24, but closed on Thursday, Dec. 25.<\/p>\n
\t\u2022\tThe Labelle and Clewiston transfer stations will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 25.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, plastic toys, ribbons, bows, metallic and plastic wrapping paper and batteries should not be placed in recycle carts. Batteries should be brought to Lee County\u2019s Household Chemical Waste Facility located at 6441 Topaz Court, Fort Myers. Community Development<\/p>\n
\t\u2022\tThe Community Development office, including first and second floor lobbies and telephone services, will be closed noon to 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18. The application portal will remain open during this closure.<\/p>\n

LeeTran<\/p>\n
