There will be no collections on Thursday, Dec. 25, and collections will continue with typical Thursday collections happening on Friday, typical Friday collections on Saturday and so on.<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tSolid Waste offices will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 25, and Friday, Dec. 26.<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tThe Resource Recovery Facility in Buckingham and the Lee-Hendry Landfill will be open regular hours Wednesday, Dec. 24, but closed on Thursday, Dec. 25.<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tThe Labelle and Clewiston transfer stations will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 25.<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tCollections of garbage, recycling and yard waste will continue as normal on Wednesday, Dec. 31. As a reminder, plastic toys, ribbons, bows, metallic and plastic wrapping paper and batteries should not be placed in recycle carts. Batteries should be brought to Lee County\u2019s Household Chemical Waste Facility located at 6441 Topaz Court, Fort Myers. For a more detailed list of where items should go visit\u00a0www.leegov.com\/solidwaste\/recycle-coach<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Community Development<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tThe Community Development office, including first and second floor lobbies and telephone services, will be closed noon to 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18. The application portal will remain open during this closure.<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tOffices will be closed Thursday, Dec. 25, and Friday, Dec. 26, and Thursday, Jan. 1, and Friday, Jan. 2.<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tThe electronic permitting portal will remain open during the closures.\u00a0Visit\u00a0www.leegov.com\/dcd.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Utilities<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tThe Call Center and the drive-thru window at 7391 College Parkway are closed Thursday, Dec. 25, Friday, Dec. 26, Thursday, Jan. 1, and Friday, Jan. 2.<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tA drop-box is on-site at the front door, and another is accessible via the drive-thru for payments by check.<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tPayments can be made at any time at\u00a0https:\/\/myutilities.leegov.com\u00a0or 1-855-895-6939.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>LeeTran<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tLeeTran will operate its regularly scheduled bus service on Wednesday, Dec. 24. There will be no bus, trolley, beach tram, ADA Passport or ULTRA on-demand services on Thursday, Dec. 25. Service will resume on Friday, Dec. 26. Normal hours resume Monday, Dec. 29.<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tPools are closed Thursday, Dec. 25, and Friday, Dec. 26, resuming normal operating hours Saturday, Dec. 27.<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tBeaches, boat ramps, parks and preserves will be open Thursday, Jan. 1, and Friday, Jan. 2.<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tThe administration office will be closed Thursday, Jan. 1, and Friday, Jan. 2, resuming normal operating hours Monday, Jan. 5.<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tPools are closed Thursday, Jan. 1, and Friday, Jan. 2, resuming normal operating hours Saturday, Jan. 3.<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tThe county\u2019s four recreation centers \u2013 North Fort Myers, Veterans, Wa-Ke Hatchee and Estero \u2013 will be closed through the holidays due to scheduled annual maintenance. They will be closed from Dec. 22 to Jan. 4. For alternative parks sites, visit\u00a0www.leeparks.org. The centers will re-open Monday, Jan. 5.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Library System<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tAll branches will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 24, and Thursday, Dec. 25.
