It was upsetting news when Smorgasburg Miami announced it would be <a href=\"https:\/\/secretmiami.com\/smorgasburg-miami-wynwood-retrospective-weekend\/\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_self\" class=\"shortcode-outbound-link\" data-has-ga=\"true\" data-ga-type=\"click\" data-label=\"https:\/\/secretmiami.com\/smorgasburg-miami-wynwood-retrospective-weekend\/\" data-action=\"text_cta_0\" data-category=\"click_internal\">leaving its original Wynwood location<\/a>, but with a new expansion and the launch of a monthly night market in Little River, we can\u2019t wait to see what they have next in store.<\/p>\n<p> Little River Night Market <\/p>\n<p>The first edition of the night market will take place on Saturday, December 20 at 7200 NW 2nd Avenue. From 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., the event will blend everything Miami does best: global street food, vintage culture, flash tattoos, design and more. It\u2019ll take over the outdoor lot and indoor spaces with a mix of current Smorgasburg vendors and new guests to create a lively night-market alley vibe.<\/p>\n<p> Here\u2019s what to expect:  Over 20 food vendors serving global flavors, alongside an Asian Alley and Barquito pouring holiday drinks such as Coquito. Rare vintage finds curated by Mids Market, plus a flash-tattoo experience by Kame House Tattoo. A hi-fi vintage vinyl lounge with deep grooves and salsa-clash rhythms from selectors Safe Stadick and Rum &amp; Coke, by Reserved.     <\/p>\n<p>The best part? It\u2019ll continue once a month at the same location!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWynwood will always hold a special place in our hearts as it was where we built our community,\u201d said Gaston Becherano, owner of Smorgasburg. \u201cThe closing of this location was bittersweet, but it opens the door to new experiences. Little River is an exciting next chapter where we\u2019ll continue to bring people together around great food, supporting local talent and celebrating South Florida\u2019s culture in fresh ways.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> A move to Fort Lauderdale <\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Smorgasburg has announced it has found a new home in Downtown Fort Lauderdale, expanding the brand\u2019s Miami operation to become Smorgasburg South Florida. The specific location and exact dates for the new space are still unfolding.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor our community in Miami, we hope that you\u2019ll consider making the trek up to FTL to support us.
