They were the clear victors by an 87-66 margin over the Ida Baker Bulldogs<\/a>. The Seahawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.<\/p>\n As for Ida Baker, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-4. While losing is never fun, they can’t take it too hard given the team’s big disadvantage in MaxPreps’ Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 375th, while Cape Coral is ranked 94th).<\/p>\n Ida Baker’s defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Daz Anderson<\/a>, who posted 17 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Anderson has been hot, having posted eight or more boards the last five times he’s played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brendan Slack<\/a>, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten rebounds.<\/p>\n Coming up, Cape Coral will be home for the holidays to greet South Fort Myers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ida Baker and Oasis will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
