Open play spaces welcome gamers. Sealed tournaments will happen Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>The shop operates as a buyer and seller destination while doubling as a place where people play games. Inside, thousands of video game consoles and titles span from Atari through Xbox generations.<\/p>\n<p>Guests can purchase unlimited play passes to spend an entire day gaming. Free open play periods let visitors grab controllers and use screens without paying.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The gaming community here has won us over, and we couldn&#8217;t be happier to have our new, permanent home to share with all of you,&#8221; the owners said in an announcement, per <a href=\"https:\/\/ilovetheburg.com\/m-and-m-video-games-st-pete\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">I Love the Burg<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The business built its following at events around town before establishing this permanent spot. Writer Andrew Harlan described the concept as &#8220;paradise&#8221; in a previous review.<\/p>\n<p>Working retro consoles are available for purchase in addition to hosting gaming sessions.
