Some people said they wore as many as six layers beneath their jackets, but fingers and toes took the brunt of the cold.Fans were wrapping themselves in newly purchased Terrible Towel blankets and wearing full snow gear. The extra layers helped some, especially because sidewalks and some roads around the North Shore were still snow-covered and slushy after the weekend’s storm.Other fans just opted to stay indoors and watch the game from the comfort of North Shore bars.
