The event was <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.miaminewtimes.com\/arts-culture\/vizcaya-is-throwing-a-quince-for-all-of-miami-40493525\/\">a nod to Vizcaya\u2019s history as Miami\u2019s premier venue for quincea\u00f1era photoshoots<\/a>, and guests were invited to dress for the occasion.<\/p>\n<p>Some sported bright-pink, puff-pastry dresses. Others strayed from the traditional quince look, choosing other colors or even dressing like guests at someone else\u2019s party. To complete guests\u2019 looks, Vizcaya provided activity stations where attendees could craft tiaras and crowns. Guests posed for bayside photos \u2014 including inside the gazebo you\u2019ve seen in all of your friends\u2019 blunder years photoshoots.<\/p>\n<p>Guests also enjoyed dominoes, activations by O, Miami, and \u2014 as at any other quince \u2014 birthday cake. The evening culminated with a dance party courtesy of <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.miaminewtimes.com\/music\/how-salsa-z-is-teaching-miamis-gen-z-to-dance-like-abuela-23815163\/\">Salsa Z, which hosts salsa classes around town<\/a>, primarily for Gen Z participants.<\/p>\n<p>If you missed the party, you might get another chance to wear your quince best soon. While no plans are yet confirmed, Elgin Grey, Vizcaya\u2019s Director of Community Partnerships, Programs, and Interpretation, recently told New Times the museum is interested in making \u201cEveryone\u2019s Quince\u201d an annual event.
