Leer en espa\u00f1ol<\/a><\/p>\nAccording to an arrest report from the Sweetwater Police Department, officers were called to the suspect and victim\u2019s apartment at about 10:15 a.m. Monday regarding a \u201cfight in progress.\u201d<\/p>\n
Police said they arrived and made contact with the suspect, Abdulrahman Mukhlefh Almutairi, 26, who admitted to being involved in a fight with his roommate.<\/p>\n
According to the report, Almutairi said he walked in front of his roommate\u2019s camera as the man was livestreaming, and his roommate told him not to do it again.<\/p>\n
Almutairi said he didn\u2019t care if the man was livestreaming and walked in front of the camera again, police said.<\/p>\n
According to police, Almutairi then got into his roommate\u2019s face, at which time his roommate pushed him with both hands to create distance between them.<\/p>\n
The report states Almutairi then grabbed a bottle of Grey Goose vodka from a table next to the TV stand and struck his roommate on the left side of the head with it.<\/p>\n
Police said Almutairi told them he then dropped the bottle and his roommate jumped on top of him and started to hit him before they were separated by a friend.<\/p>\n
According to the report, the victim had a bruise on his head consistent with being struck and said he wanted to press charges.<\/p>\n
Almutairi was arrested on a charge of aggravated battery and the Grey Goose bottle was impounded as evidence.<\/p>\n
As of Tuesday morning, Almutairi remained held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. Online jail records listed his bond as \u201cto be set.\u201d<\/p>\n
