D.A.D.S. identified the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.news4jax.com\/news\/local\/2025\/12\/13\/teen-killed-2-others-shot-in-drug-deal-gone-wrong-in-sandlewood-area-jso-says\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.news4jax.com\/news\/local\/2025\/12\/13\/teen-killed-2-others-shot-in-drug-deal-gone-wrong-in-sandlewood-area-jso-says\/\">16-year-old who was fatally shot in the Sandalwood area on Friday night<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The Jacksonville Sheriff\u2019s Office said Amir Bostic was lying in the middle of Mareeba Road East with multiple gunshot wounds. Officers also found a man in a car at the same intersection with multiple gunshot wounds and another teen with a single gunshot wound.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department took all three to local hospitals, where Bostic later died.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The sheriff\u2019s office said a gunfight took place during a drug deal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">His sister, Zakiya Bostic, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/f\/help-lay-amir-to-rest-support-our-family\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/f\/help-lay-amir-to-rest-support-our-family\">started a GoFundMe to raise money for his mother, the funeral and burial expenses<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Amir Bostic, 16, was fatally shot in the Sandalwood area.
