made an arrest in connection to the 25-year-old\u2019s disappearance<\/a>.<\/p>\nStefan Eide, 32, is facing charges like disturbing a dead body. <\/p>\n
Two years ago, police say Eide picked up Garcia to pay her to have sex, but according to him, she overdosed. <\/p>\n
According to an affidavit, Eide told police he tried CPR but never called 911. <\/p>\n

Instead, he threw Marissa\u2019s phone in the woods and then brought her body an hour away to Hammock Road in Mims.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe didn\u2019t deserve to be dumped on the side of the road,\u201d Marissa\u2019s mother, Michelle Garcia, told Palm Bay Community Correspondent James Sparvero. \u201cNo person, no human does.\u201d<\/p>\n
Because police still haven\u2019t found Marissa\u2019s remains, her mother joined a new search Tuesday.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhy are we standing here and not knowing exactly where she is,\u201d Garcia asked. \u201cWe\u2019re on another goose chase looking for a body that\u2019s not here.\u201d<\/p>\n
The mother told Sparvero her faith is giving her hope that any sign of her daughter can still be found.\u201cIt\u2019s God that\u2019s got me standing here today strong enough to even come here and look and wrap my brain around the fact that something like this could happen,\u201d Garcia said.<\/p>\n
Sparvero wanted to ask police Tuesday about the investigation, but he was told Chief Mario Augello wasn\u2019t available. <\/p>\n
Here\u2019s what Garcia would like to say to Eide. <\/p>\n
He\u2019s out on bond now.<\/p>\n
\u201cTell us exactly where she is,\u201d the mother said. \u201cYou know where you dropped her. There\u2019s no way you could have forgotten where you took her out of the truck and put her body, and I ask you to come forth and tell the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n
