The Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI<\/a>) offers an escape from the madness of the holidays next weekend.<\/p>\n

In this immersive deep-sea experience, the garish reds and greens of Christmas and black and golds of New Year\u2019s are nowhere to be seen. No carols, no \u201cho ho ho\u201d-ing. Just the endless blue and the meditative sounds of animals who don\u2019t know what a holiday even is. <\/p>\n

\u201cSounds of the Ocean\u201d promises \u201ca captivating blend of art, music, and mindfulness that transports you straight into the ocean\u2019s embrace,\u201d per MOSI\u2019s event description.<\/p>\n

Inside what\u2019s now America\u2019s second-largest planetarium, mesmerizing deep-sea visuals pair with the natural music of whale and dolphin sounds, combined with original music composed by humans. <\/p>\n

For those who can\u2019t make it this weekend or want an encore, it\u2019ll be back in MOSI\u2019s dome again on Jan. 11.<\/p>\n

Tickets are $18-$34 for \u201cSounds of the Ocean,\u201d screening Sunday, Dec. 28 in Tampa.<\/p>\n
