The study found that 80.7% of flipped homes in the Cape Coral metro area were purchased with cash, well above the national average of 62.9%. Nationally, home flipping activity and profitability declined, with typical returns falling to 23.1% \u2014 the lowest level since 2008 \u2014 as rising home prices and shrinking margins challenged investors.
