{"id":87678,"date":"2025-12-18T05:33:11","date_gmt":"2025-12-18T05:33:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/87678\/"},"modified":"2025-12-18T05:33:11","modified_gmt":"2025-12-18T05:33:11","slug":"firefighters-team-up-with-santa-claus-to-deliver-gifts-to-children-in-miami","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/87678\/","title":{"rendered":"Firefighters team up with Santa Claus to deliver gifts to children in Miami"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text text--small text--normal text--primary\">Published:\u00a0December 17, 2025 at 11:42 AM<\/p>\n<p class=\"text text--small text--normal text--primary\">Updated:\u00a0December 17, 2025 at 1:51 PM<\/p>\n<p>Firefighters help Santa Claus deliver gifts in Miami  <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">MIAMI \u2014 Firefighters used their 1952 Peter Pirsch surplus fire truck on Wednesday to help Santa Claus deliver hundreds of Christmas gifts in Miami. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Miami Fire Rescue and the Miami Firefighters Benevolent Association have been teaming up with Claus for more than seven decades. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-chromatic=\"ignore\" alt=\"\" class=\"c-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/KNDXB7W7MZDU7AOFBU2NEJIPYQ.jpeg\"  width=\"800\" height=\"450\"\/>Miami Fire Rescue Miami Fire Rescue recruits help to pack children&#8217;s gifts for distribution on Wednesday. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cWe don\u2019t just drop off the toys. We actually have Santa deliver them to the classroom, and they call each child\u2019s name,\u201c said Alex Martinez, of the Miami Firefighters Benevolent Association.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Firefighters and MFD recruits collected, gift wrapped, labeled, and loading the donated toys at 8 a.m. at 2980 NW South River Drive. They departed at about 9:30 a.m. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cSpend time, enjoy some memories, and meet people.
