ORLANDO, Fla. \u2014 The chief of the Orlando Fire Department is stepping down.<\/p>\n

In his resignation letter, Chief Charlie Salazar says his last day will be Nov. 3.<\/p>\n

Salazar says he\u2019s leaving for personal reasons and will return to Texas. <\/p>\n

His departure follows the Orlando Fire Department\u2018s loss of its accreditation<\/a>.<\/p>\n
