A well-balanced attack led IMater Charter<\/a> over Hialeah-Miami Lakes<\/a> in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Knights blew the Trojans out of the water with an 86-58 final score. That looming 86-58 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Knights yet this season.<\/p>\n Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead iMater Charter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alex Benitez<\/a>, who shot 80% from beyond the arc en route to 24 points along with eight steals and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Brian Benitez<\/a>, who went 11-for-17 on his way to 26 points and three steals.<\/p>\n IMater Charter was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That’s the most assists they’ve posted since the start of last season.<\/p>\n IMater Charter moved to 3-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Hialeah-Miami Lakes, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.<\/p>\n Coming up, iMater Charter won’t have much time to rest: their next game is against Pinecrest Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Knights’ defense better be ready for this one: the Crocs have averaged an impressive 61.3 points per game this season. As for Hialeah-Miami Lakes, they will head out on the road to face off against Goleman at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans will be up against the Gators’ rather soft defense (which has allowed 57 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.<\/p>\n
