Miami Beach<\/a> took a six-goal loss the last time they faced off against Hialeah Gardens<\/a>, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Hi-Tides had just enough and edged out the Gladiators 3-2 on Monday. The win was all the more spectacular given Miami Beach’s disadvantage in MaxPreps’ Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 244th, while Hialeah Gardens are ranked 75th).<\/p>\n Miami Beach hit Hialeah Gardens with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Valentina Marmolejo<\/a>, Phoebe Carteledge<\/a>, and Avril Pazmino<\/a>.<\/p>\n Miami Beach pushed their record up to 4-2-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those three matches. As for Hialeah Gardens, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.<\/p>\n Miami Beach didn’t take long to hit the pitch again: they’ve already played their next matchup, a 4-1 loss against Mourning on the 4th. As for Hialeah Gardens, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 9-1 victory against Miami Springs on the 3rd.<\/p>\n
