West Tampa restaurant Lucky Tigre was burglarized early Friday morning.<\/p>\n
The front door was shattered, and money, equipment and inventory was stolen, said owner Julie Sainte Michelle Feliciano<\/a> by phone Friday.<\/p>\n Feliciano and her team are prepping, sanitizing and cleaning the space, with plans to open at 4 p.m., according to Lucky Tigre\u2019s Instagram.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cThis sucks … it sucks even more for our family and team members that rely on us being open to provide, especially before the holidays,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n The Filipino American restaurant has been in the brick-and-mortar location<\/a> at 1901 N. Howard Ave. for just three months, having moved from their food trailer around the corner in September.<\/p>\n The restaurant is run by Feliciano and her husband, Seanissey Loughlin. It\u2019s known for Feliciano\u2019s inventive takes on Filipino cooking. Lucky Tigre landed on on food critic\u2019s list of the year\u2019s Top 50 Restaurants<\/a>.<\/p>\n
