FORT PIERCE \u2013 During a check of 15 possible offenders across multiple locations in St. Lucie County on Oct. 14 and 15, three arrests were made on drug charges, possession of weapons and ammunition and grand theft, according to St. Lucie County Sheriff\u2019s Office reports.<\/p>\n
The Sheriff\u2019s Office\u2019s Special Investigations Division, partnered with Fort Pierce Police Department\u2019s Crime Suppression Unit, assisted the state Department of Corrections Probation and Parole Division with a coordinated probation compliance operation.<\/p>\n
During one of the checks in the 800 block of N. 19th Street, probation officers discovered two handguns and suspected crack cocaine inside the residence. Sheriff\u2019s Office detectives obtained a search warrant and recovered a stolen Canik 9mm handgun (confirmed stolen out by Fort Pierce Police), a Ruger LCP .380, and approximately 10 grams of crack cocaine, according to Sheriff\u2019s Office reports.<\/p>\n
Eddie Lavern Daniels, 31, of Fort Pierce, was arrested and charged with:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Grand theft firearm<\/p>\n
\u2022 Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon<\/p>\n
\u2022 Possession of ammunition by a convicted felon<\/p>\n
\u2022 Possession of cocaine<\/p>\n
\u2022 Violation of probation<\/p>\n
He is in the St. Lucie County Jail on $130,000 bond as of Oct. 16.<\/p>\n
Another team responded to the 700 block of Emil Avenue, where probation officers located a plastic bag containing multi-colored pills and a gray, rocklike substance suspected to be narcotics. SID detectives identified the substance as MDMA (Molly) and secured a search warrant.<\/p>\n
The subsequent search of the Emil Avenue residence resulted in the seizure of:<\/p>\n
\u2022 8.5 ounces of cocaine<\/p>\n
\u2022 69 grams of MDMA (Molly)<\/p>\n
\u2022 Two Oxycodone pills<\/p>\n
\u2022 3.5 pounds of marijuana<\/p>\n
\u2022 Drug manufacturing equipment including beakers and glassware with cocaine residue<\/p>\n
\u2022 One AK-47 Drako firearm<\/p>\n
\u2022 One Taurus TCP .380 handgun<\/p>\n
\u2022 Cash in the amounty of $11,867<\/p>\n
Antonio Hernandez, 43, of Fort Pierce, was arrested and charged with:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Trafficking in Phenethylamines (MDMA)<\/p>\n
\u2022 Possession of cocaine<\/p>\n
\u2022 Possession of drug paraphernalia<\/p>\n
\u2022 Violation of probation<\/p>\n
He is being held at the St. Lucie County Jail on $160,000 bond as of Oct. 16.<\/p>\n
Maria Noemi Thompson, 42, of Fort Pierce, was also arrested at the residence for:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Possession of cocaine<\/p>\n
She is being held in the St. Lucie County Jail on $2,500 bond as of Oct. 16.<\/p>\n
