Westland Hialeah<\/a> extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 13 on Tuesday, dropping them down to 0-10. They were dealt a 91-56 loss at the hands of the Reagan Bison<\/a>. On the bright side, the 56- point performance marked the Wildcats’ highest-scoring matchup to date.<\/p>\n Westland Hialeah’s defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Angelo Puentes<\/a>, who shot 53% from the field to rack up 22 points and five boards. That was a full 39.3% of the Wildcats’ points, marking the third time in a row Puentes has posted more than a third of the team’s points. Elias Pinate Castillo<\/a> was another key player, putting up 17 points and four steals.<\/p>\n As for Reagan, their win bumped their record up to 2-6. With that victory, they brought their scoring average up to 54.2 points per game.<\/p>\n Reagan’s win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tavarius Pittman<\/a>, who earned 15 points along with six assists and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Gereon Seifert<\/a>, who put up 16 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.<\/p>\n Westland Hialeah has already played their next contest, a 66-64 victory against Edison on the 18th. As for Reagan, they also didn’t take long to hit the court again: they’ve already played their next game, a 74-36 loss against Downtown Doral on the 18th.<\/p>\n
