TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Grammy winner and Dove winner David Phelps is set to perform in Tallahassee on Sunday.

He’s taken the stage at some incredible venues, from the Metropolitan Opera to the Grand Ole Opry.

Phelps says every night is different, and performing in smaller venues, like Tallahassee’s Immanuel Baptist Church, is a very special way to connect with people during this holiday season.

“That’s what I love about it,” Phelps said. “It’s the hope that next year can be better, that life is going to get better. That there’s hope on the horizon. And that’s what celebrating Jesus is about. The hope of a new beginning. So we love to celebrate that and if people can walk away with that, with hope in their hearts, then I think I’ve done my job pretty well.”

The “One Wintry Night” tour is set for this Sunday, December 21, at 7 p.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church.
