(Emphasis on the &#8220;relatively.&#8221;)<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Entering Week 16 at 7-7, the Panthers can only <a href=\"http:\/\/pantherswire.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/nfl\/panthers\/2025\/12\/19\/panthers-buccaneers-week-16-nfl-playoff-probability\/87846776007\/\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">punch their ticket<\/a> to the postseason by way of a division title. And if those don&#8217;t suffice in that situation, then we stop with the common games tiebreaker\u2014which Tampa has already clinched.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">So, in essence, the lone playoff spot for the NFC South will come down to the games involving only Carolina and Tampa Bay.
