This is not the ending<a href=\"https:\/\/sports.yahoo.com\/articles\/everything-hc-mike-elko-players-224353674.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:Coach Elko;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> Coach Elko<\/a> and his team envisioned after locking up their first playoff game, and they will be back to the drawing board for next season.<\/p>\n<p>For the better part <a href=\"https:\/\/aggieswire.usatoday.com\/picture-gallery\/sports\/college\/aggies\/football\/2025\/12\/20\/texas-aggies-football-miami-hurricanes-best-photos-week-cfp\/87864244007\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:of 60 minutes;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">of 60 minutes<\/a>, the Aggie defense gave Marcel Reed a fighting chance to take over the game, but that moment never came. Every time the offense would get the ball in scoring position, they could not close the deal. The running game never got going, and Marcel Reed wasn\u2019t accurate enough when they truly needed him to be.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Now, for the next few days, they will have to deal with all the outside noise, coaching changes, the transfer portal, and an early start to constructing next season\u2019s roster. He was in the backfield all night and recorded one of the two sacks logged by A&amp;M.
