The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office responded to a potential threat at Florida Southwestern College’s Punta Gorda campus on Thursday.<\/p>\n

All Punta Gorda Schools are on a soft lockdown out an abundance of caution because of law enforcement activity in the area<\/p>\n

The threat was received through a hotline.<\/p>\n

Deputies said they conducted a security sweep and cleared all buildings, finding no “actionable intelligence.” An investigation is underway.<\/p>\n
