PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. \u2014 A woman is dead and two men are injured following a crash that involved a Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) bus.<\/p>\n
The Florida Highway Patrol said this happened after 8:30 p.m. Saturday when a PSTA passenger bus was driving westbound on Roosevelt Boulevard and was stopped at a red traffic light at the intersection of Lake Carillon Drive.<\/p>\n
Troopers said the 38-year-old bus driver turned left, despite the red light still on, into the path of a Nissan Armada driven by a 57-year-old Clearwater man going eastbound and crashed into each other.<\/p>\n
The bus driver, who was unrestrained, was ejected from the bus following the crash, according to FHP.<\/p>\n
Both the Nissan driver and bus driver suffered serious injuries and were taken to the hospital.<\/p>\n
