Broncos rookie wide receiver Pat Bryant was released from a local hospital Sunday night after evaluation that followed a crushing hit late in Denver\u2019s 34-20 loss<\/a> to Jacksonville on Sunday at Empower Field.<\/p>\n

Bryant, a source with knowledge of the situation said, has a concussion but cleared all other testing before being released before 9 p.m.<\/p>\n

Another source close to Bryant told The Post that he\u2019s \u201cfine \u2026 nothing serious. No fractures.\u201d<\/p>\n

Broncos head coach Sean Payton said after the game that Bryant was able to move his arms and legs.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s encouraging,\u201d Payton said. \u201c\u2026 He was moving his hands and his legs.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bryant was injured with 31 seconds left in the game and Denver trailing by two touchdowns. He reached up high to catch a pass from quarterback Bo Nix and took a blow that caused his head to whiplash.<\/p>\n

He was on the ground for several minutes as Denver\u2019s medical and training staffs attended to him, then immobilized him and loaded him onto a stretcher.<\/p>\n

Bryant was transported to an ambulance and taken out of the stadium. A source with knowledge of the situation said the 2025 third-round draft pick was being evaluated at the hospital for concussion-like symptoms.<\/p>\n

Teammates were visibly shaken on the field and in the locker room after the game. None more so than Nix, who took his helmet off after the play and slammed it to the turf. He stood apart from the rest of his teammates as Bryant was attended to on the field with his hands on his hips.<\/p>\n

“You never want to see somebody in that situation and I feel responsible because I threw it,” Nix said after the game. “You can say it’s part of the game, but you just never want to see it. I really pray he’s OK and he can be back out there as soon as he can. It’s just one of those things that you wish you could avoid.<\/p>\n

“That was a tough situation.”<\/p>\n

Tight end Evan Engram understood why Nix felt that way but told The Post his quarterback shouldn’t blame himself.<\/p>\n

“He’s going to beat himself up about it but he’s got to move on and hopefully Pat’s going to be OK,” Engram said. “Prayers go out to him and hopefully we’ll be able to check on him soon.”<\/p>\n

Veteran wide receiver Courtland Sutton said, “\u201cYou never want to see your brother go down, especially somebody in your room. Younger guy. Guy plays with the best \u2013 I don\u2019t know, the best effort, the best care that you can ask for from a young guy.<\/p>\n

“And he\u2019s just a great dude, so you just hate to see him go down with an injury, and just giving him our prayers. And he\u2019ll be OK. He\u2019s a tough guy.\u201d<\/p>\n
