TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A house on Ford Street went up in flames early Monday morning, according to the Tallahassee Fire Department.<\/p>\n
The incident transpired at about 12:30 a.m. after firefighters were dispatched to a reported house fire in the 1200 block of Ford Street, TFD wrote in a press release.<\/p>\n
Crews arrived on scene in less than five minutes and found heavy fire in the front of the home, the fire department said.<\/p>\n
Moments later, firefighters began to attack the fire with the use of hose lines and \u201ca deck gun to apply large volumes of water,\u201d per the release.<\/p>\n
The fire was brought under control shortly after.<\/p>\n
Crews confirmed the home was vacant and that no occupants or pets were inside at the time of the incident, according to TFD.<\/p>\n
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.<\/p>\n
