(WITN) &#8211; The Jacksonville Children\u2019s &amp; Multispecialty Clinic of Neurology (JCMC) closed permanently Friday, Nov. 28, leaving patients without access to medications and searching for answers. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">A sign on the clinic door notifies patients of the permanent closure but does not provide a reason for the shutdown.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Christina Johnson, a former patient, said she learned about the closure through Facebook with no other communication from the clinic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cNo notice other than Facebook. No phone calls, no any kind of interaction with them and they left me hanging with no medications,\u201d Johnson said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Johnson said she has attempted to get answers from the clinic without success. WITN has also been unsuccessful in reaching the clinic for comment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Cordelia Johnson, Christina\u2019s mother, said the clinic provided no guidance to help patients transition their care.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cThey should at least tell the patients &#8211; hey, here\u2019s a list, try this out. But they didn\u2019t even do that &#8211; they did nothing. They just left people hanging,\u201d Cordelia Johnson said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Johnsons moved to Jacksonville specifically for this neurologist. Christina Johnson, who suffers from epilepsy, needs her medications refilled. Her mother said they are hoping to find a new neurologist soon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2025 WITN.
