MIAMI, Fla. (CBS12) \u2014 Zoo Miami announced that a potential threat was made against them on Tuesday morning. <\/p>\n

While authorities said that they believe it may be a hoax, staff members were evacuated, and a security sweep of the park is taking place. <\/p>\n

Zoo Miami said that the inspection is expected to last several hours, causing a delayed opening for the zoo today.<\/p>\n
