(WCTV) &#8211; This time of year, many people are binge-watching Christmas movies, and there is a new one that was penned right in Tallahassee. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cDeck the Hallways\u201d was written by a Florida A&amp;M University alum and dedicated to his father. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Lifetime movie is a story about a young woman who returns to her grandparents\u2019 5th-floor apartment to rekindle some of her favorite holiday traditions and rediscover her childhood sweetheart. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"A photo from the holiday movie, \u201cDeck the Hallways,\u201d that was written by a Florida A&amp;M...\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Z4WKDGALVNGW3DE6M6YQNKI2QE.jpg\" width=\"980\" height=\"653\" \/>A photo from the holiday movie, \u201cDeck the Hallways,\u201d that was written by a Florida A&amp;M University alum and dedicated to his father. (Gregory Anderson)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cTo see it come alive so quickly from the time when he passed in August to now see it on a screen and to see his face at the end and to see the dedications to him throughout the story, it was really heartwarming to us, and it felt like he\u2019s immortalized now to us through film,\u201d Anderson said. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Anderson wrote the screenplay at his father\u2019s bedside earlier this year.
