(Photo by Evan Agostini\/Invision\/AP, File)<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">PALM BEACH, Fla. \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/hub\/venus-williams\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Venus Williams<\/a> and Andrea Preti are married, the tennis great announced Tuesday on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DSnHdiVFedh\/?img_index=1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">social media<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Williams and Preti became wife and husband over the weekend in Palm Beach, Florida, as part of a five-day celebration.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">After becoming <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/venus-williams-peyton-stearns-dc-open-8777fbf41ca1ec39e024fa7d10123b1f\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the second-oldest woman to win a tour-level singles match<\/a> in July, the 45-year-old Williams gave thanks to her fiance, who was in the stands at the DC Open.
