Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol are on-scene of a fatal 5-vehicle crash that left a woman dead and two others injured, FHP said.<\/p>\n
The crash occurred at approximately 4:56 p.m. on US-27 and Greater Groves Blvd in Clermont, FHP said. The five vehicles involved in the crash are a 2017 Audi A7, 2019 Subaru Outback, a 2015 Lexus RX, a 2020 Toyota Camry and a 2023 Honda Civic.<\/p>\n
A woman, who was the driver of the Audi, was airlifted to Osceola Regional Hospital and was pronounced dead, FHP said. Her identity is yet to be confirmed.<\/p>\n
The driver and passenger of the Subaru were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, FHP said. The remaining drivers and passengers were not taken to the hospital and remained at on-scene.<\/p>\n
FHP said the sequence of events that led to this crash are still under investigation.
