The Bradley Kitchen + Bar, Fort Lauderdale’s newest approachably upscale arrival, feels built for staying power – grounded in grit, heart, and a clear sense of purpose.

From the moment you step into the freshly renovated space, it’s evident that hospitality here isn’t a slogan, it’s the soul of the operation. Created by locals who understand that memorable meals don’t happen by accident, The Bradley is shaped by early mornings, late nights, and a relentless respect for ingredients, guests, and craft. This isn’t a restaurant chasing buzz; it’s a place built with pride.

Friendly owners Chef Brad Gasser and partner Vera Micakovic are seasoned restaurateurs, and that experience shows in both the confidence of the menu and the calm precision of the room. Their vision is eclectic yet focused – Mediterranean-inspired comfort meets classic steakhouse indulgence, all delivered without pretense.

Owner Vera Micakovic and sous-Chef Marina Micakovic showcase a few house specialties at the newly-opened, family-run The Bradley

“We wanted to create an ambiance and menu where there is something for everyone,” said the innovative Gasser. “Our dishes are meaningful and freshly prepared using nothing but the highest quality ingredients, including USDA Prime beef and fresh seafood brought in almost daily.”

Mediterranean influences shine with specialties like spanakopita chicken, rich lasagna Bolognese, Greek grilled lamb chops, and sausage and burrata pasta that balances earthiness with originality. Steakhouse staples anchor the menu: slow-roasted prime ribeye with au jus and Yukon mashed potatoes, a tender filet mignon finished with champagne zip sauce, St. Louis style BBQ ribs, and an eye-popping wagyu burger topped with candied bacon, aged white cheddar, and garlic aioli.

Seafood lovers are equally well cared for. Thai green curry swordfish delivers gentle heat and depth, while miso-marinated black cod melts on the fork. Faroe Island blackened salmon, lobster truffle mac and cheese, and a classic surf-and-turf pairing ribeye with warm-water lobster tail reflect a menu attuned to South Florida’s coastal appetite.

Starters set the tone early. Jerk-seasoned coastal wings bring Caribbean swagger, Greek deviled eggs add a playful twist, and a charred lemon Caesar crowned with colossal grilled shrimp feels both familiar and elevated. House-smoked fish dip, homemade French onion soup, and classic clam chowder underscore a kitchen that respects tradition.

The chicken piccata features lightly coated sautéed chicken breasts with lemon caper sauce over tender pappardelle noodles.

Desserts lean into comfort: Ghirardelli brownie, warm peach cobbler, and fresh-baked salted caramel cookies are just some of the offerings that invite sharing.

“We look forward to providing the best service and most flavorful dishes to the community for years to come,” said affable Vera, whose sister Marina Micakovic serves as the talented sous-chef that helps create the culinary magic patrons adore. “From our family to yours, The Bradley doesn’t just welcome diners. We welcome friends who feel at home.”

Starters, salads, soups, and handhelds begin at $10, while large entrées start at $24. A daily extended happy hour from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. features craft cocktails such as the Hot Honey Peach Margarita and Royale Smoked Old Fashioned, along with premium wines, draft beers, and a small bites menu, all enjoyed at a TV-lined bar ideal for catching the big game.

With an airy outdoor patio, seating for nearly 400 guests, and ample free parking, The Bradley is well suited for gatherings, celebrations, private parties, and corporate events of all sizes.

In a dining landscape crowded with concepts, The Bradley Kitchen + Bar succeeds by staying true to its roots.
