{"id":95087,"date":"2025-12-24T19:45:14","date_gmt":"2025-12-24T19:45:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/95087\/"},"modified":"2025-12-24T19:45:14","modified_gmt":"2025-12-24T19:45:14","slug":"blaise-ingoglia-finds-santas-sleigh-is-up-to-code","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/95087\/","title":{"rendered":"Blaise Ingoglia finds Santa\u2019s sleigh is up to code"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2018Twas the night before Christmas, and across Florida\u2019s skies, regulators were ensuring Santa\u2019s safe when he flies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Chief Financial Officer <a href=\"https:\/\/myfloridacfo.com\/about\/meet-the-cfo\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Blaise Ingoglia<\/a> announced that Santa Claus and his full reindeer roster have officially cleared Florida\u2019s regulatory hurdles, passing workers\u2019 compensation coverage reviews and State Fire Marshal compliance checks ahead of Christmas Eve deliveries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The all-clear means the world\u2019s most famous seasonal operation is good to go for rooftop landings from Pensacola to Key West.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWhether you\u2019re running a small business or a global toy-delivery operation in the North Pole, Florida takes compliance seriously,\u201d Ingoglia said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cI\u2019m pleased to report that Santa Claus is fully compliant with Florida\u2019s workers\u2019 compensation requirements if his reindeer sustain any injuries on the job on Christmas Eve, and that his sleigh meets the safety standards required by the State Fire Marshal\u2019s Office.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Even Rudolph, with his high-visibility nose, is covered.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/myfloridacfo.com\/\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Department of Financial Services<\/a>, Santa\u2019s compliance extends beyond insurance paperwork. Officials examined the sleigh\u2019s lighting, landing procedures and even chimney-entry operations. Ingoglia, who also serves as State Fire Marshal, verified that Santa\u2019s methods pose no fire hazards to Florida homes<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Onboard equipment, including navigation systems and gift storage, also passed inspection without posing risks of sparks, embers or rooftop damage. In short, Floridians can rest easy knowing Santa\u2019s sleigh won\u2019t set off smoke alarms or cause unexpected calls to local Fire Departments \u2014 except, perhaps, from overly excited children staying up past bedtime.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With the checks complete, Ingoglia is wishing Floridians a Merry Christmas and a safe, joyful holiday season.
