With school in full swing, the Education Foundation of Martin County is inviting individuals, civic groups, nonprofit organizations, and businesses to get involved by donating time or dollars through various classroom connection programs to champion student achievement.<\/p>\n

The Education Foundation has organized several online opportunities to support both students and teachers, including:<\/p>\n

Adopt-A-Class<\/p>\n

The Adopt-A-Class program allows parents, grandparents, education advocates, and businesses to adopt classrooms online. Adopting a classroom provides teachers with much needed classroom support. This support keeps teachers from reaching into their own pockets to fulfill their classroom needs. Adoptions are $100 or any multiple of $100. There is no limit to the number of times a classroom\/program can be adopted. To view the available classrooms and programs, click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fund-A-Project<\/p>\n

Through the foundation\u2019s Fund-A-Project, teachers request funds for various projects to help fulfill their students\u2019\u00a0needs. To view specific teacher requests, click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Bulletin Board <\/p>\n

This online resource connects the community to classrooms for a variety of non-monetary needs, such as volunteer requests, materials to donate, subject matter experts for class presentations, or gently used equipment that can be repurposed in a classroom.<\/p>\n
