<\/a>Delia Delgado died on Monday in a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident at the intersection of East Fourth Avenue and 49th Street in Hialeah.<\/p>\n\nAccording to officials, an SUV traveling on East Fourth Avenue attempted to make a right turn onto 49th Street and hit Delia Annet Delgado as she was walking across the roadway.<\/p>\n
\nTragically, Delgado was declared deceased at the site of the crash.<\/p>\n
\nThe driver remained at the scene.<\/p>\n
PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION<\/p>\n
\nDespite being protected by various laws, pedestrians continue to be the most vulnerable users of streets and roads in our country. Every day, pedestrians are seriously injured or killed by motorists who ignore warning signs, are distracted, or are impaired.<\/p>\n
