\nWhy do Big Pharma\u2019s TV ads urge us to \u201cask (our) doctor\u201d if their advertised, wildly overpriced med is right for us?\u00a0 News flash:\u00a0 Your doctor already knows and likely will prescribe a much more affordable generic if available, no matter how wonderful the commercial\u2019s actors make their brand name-medicated lives look.
\nI\u2019m ticked off that at 70 years of age, I have to go to downtown Orlando to get a card that says senior to get the senior discount on LYNX.
\nWe now have many hardworking people who are struggling to make ends meet with a government shutdown occurring and not being paid. Yet, our legislative branch (Senate and House) still receive their paychecks. For what? What are they doing to continue to be paid? NOTHING. How about no work, no pay? Instead of acting like little brats, put your big-boy pants and big-girl skirts and dresses on, act like adults and sit down and do a novel thing called negotiate on behalf of the American people.<\/p>\n
