BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA \u2013 Florida continues to solidify its status as the world\u2019s leading hub for space launches as state leaders commit new funding to support the growing aerospace industry. <\/p>\n

According to the Florida Department of Transportation, the state achieved 109 successful space launches<\/a> in 2025, more than any other location worldwide.<\/p>\n

Building on that momentum, Governor Ron DeSantis\u2019 Floridians First budget includes a $93.4 million investment dedicated to infrastructure projects that directly serve Florida\u2019s aerospace sector.<\/p>\n

The funding is aimed at maintaining Florida\u2019s leadership in space operations while improving the Space Coast\u2019s long-term economic competitiveness.<\/p>\n

State officials say the investment will support critical infrastructure improvements tied to spaceport operations, transportation networks, and industry-related development.<\/p>\n
