A Lee County Sheriff\u2019s Office death investigation that began Sunday after a body was recovered in waters north of the Midpoint Bridge is continuing. <\/p>\n

According to LCSO officials, the Sheriff\u2019s Office responded to a boater \u201cwho located a deceased person in the water north of the Midpoint Bridge\u201d around 1:15 p.m. <\/p>\n

LCSO officials told The Breeze via email \u201cthis is a non-suspicious death investigation, as there are no signs of foul play.\u201d<\/p>\n

Officials said detectives will work the Medical Examiner\u2019s Office to determine the cause of death. <\/p>\n
