STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A 33-year-old man hurled a racial slur while robbing a victim at gunpoint in Stapleton last week, authorities allege.

Eric Green of Manor Road in Castleton Corners stands accused in the robbery on Cedar Street near Hudson Street on Jan. 7 at about 5 a.m., according to the criminal complaint.

The defendant and an unapprehended individual approached the victim.

Green allegedly pointed what appeared to be a gun at the victim.

“You b——, you white motherf—–, give me your wallet,” the defendant is quoted as saying in the criminal complaint.

Green allegedly reached into the victim’s pocket and snatched a wallet holding a debit card.

At about 8 p.m. the next day, Green allegedly gave a false name and date of birth to officers on Broad Street.

The defendant has been charged with robbery, criminal possession of a weapon, grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, petit larceny, false personation, menacing and harassment.

The defendant previously was convicted in June 2021 of criminal possession of a narcotic drug in the fourth degree and was sentenced to 42 months of incarceration and 18 months of post release supervision.

Green has pleaded not guilty to all charges and his bail has been set at $100,000 bond/$50,000 cash.

He is due back in Criminal Court in St. George on Feb. 23, according to public records.
